From Vision to Reality

Customer Design and Proposal
Bring us your design. During this initial period we work very closely with your contractor and/or designer to fully understand your vision.
Project Proposal
We will prepare a proposal from the specifications and designs provided to us. This will include a written description and the price of cabinets or woodwork, unfinished and picked up from our loading dock. To help you understand our products and services, a “shop standards” sheet is available upon request.
Finalize Project Design and Scope
In addition to cabinetry, and in coordination with your contractor, we can provide pre-finishing, delivery, installation, and countertops. We do this in partnership with other highly qualified companies that specialize in these areas.
Confirm Order With Down Payment
Confirm your order. Sign and return a copy of the proposal with a down payment. This confirms your order and gets your project a place on our schedule. At that time, we can give you a rough idea of when we will complete fabrication.
Field Measure And Shop Drawings
We will do a field measure and prepare shop drawings. We will contact you to set up a time for us to come out and measure your space to insure exact fits. We will prepare new drawings for your review and approval, as well as a 3D rendered drawing of your cabinets if appropriate or requested. If there are changes to the scope of the project we will issue a revised proposal with updated pricing for cabinetry and any additional services for which we obtained quotes. The revised proposal will be provided at the same time as the shop drawings.
Review and Approve Drawings and Revised Proposal
Review and approve shop drawings and revised proposal. We want you to be delighted with the custom woodwork you receive from Anderson Millwork! That’s why we ask you to review and approve the drawings we will use to fabricate your custom products. Sign and return those documents.
Production and “Meet Your Cabinetmaker”
We will manufacture your custom product. When we have received your approval of the drawings and revised proposal, we will begin production according to your project’s place on the schedule. As the project nears completion, you will be invited to visit us and “Meet Your Cabinetmaker”. While a visit is not necessary, you may wish to witness firsthand the craftsmanship and quality which goes into your customized project.
